以前有一位大禪師,他說一句話:「一個身軀能幾日?勿為閒事長無明。」一個身軀能幾日?能活幾天呀?我們這個身體能有幾天?馬上就老了哦!馬上頭髮就白了!馬上就四十歲、五十歲、七十歲了,就這麼快,所以一個身軀能幾天呀?能幾日呀?勿為閒事,什麼叫閒事呢?長無明,生很多的無明出來,去怨那個,煩惱這個,討厭那個,天天不是氣,就是怒,就是惱,就是這些個東西。他說勿為閒事,閒事哦,不是正事。我們很多人都不知道正事,專門做閒事,多管閒事,我們很多人就是這樣子,勿為閒事長無明呀!這些個事,都非好和壞呀,唉呀!說不完,管不完,趕快的回歸,認識自己這個大的,認識自己這個黃中,認識自己這個明德,真是要好好的培養他,這才是正事,這才是真的哦!
In the past, a Zen master said that our body has limited days of living and we shall not fill it with concerns over trivial matters. We age and grow white hair before we realize it. We turn into our 40s, 50s, or 70s soon. Thus, we shall not resent or worry thigs around us. These are concerns we have. Many of us do not know what is major and what is trivial and always work on trivial matters or mind others’ business. No, we shall not do it. Such matters are endless. We must return to our true self and know the major matters in us. We must cultivate it properly to achieve the major matters.
你要做的是,能立德趕快立德,能幫助別人趕快幫助別人,能渡眾,趕快去渡眾,能捨身,趕快去做這個天人的天使,真能這樣的話,勿為閒事長無明,我們一天真是把光陰把生命就這麼浪費在閒事上。所以,各位,為什麼我再三來給大家提倡這個東西,就是要大家不以為這個重要,而這個摸不著的,不認為這個很要緊。
We must make up our mind to devote to virtue deeds, help others, and help salvage others from the mundane world. We must spend our time on meaningful matters instead of trivial matters. Therefore, I cannot overemphasize the importance of cultivating Tao, which is critical to our spiritual being.
所以對這些個呢?我們要懂得真正天律的運作,你要趕快學會這個自然的過程,自然的上天都在護佑,你在想怎麼千方百計,上天都有一定的主宰,真的,真的都有一定的主宰,所以我們自己呢?要懂得,不要天天的都叫一些個漂浮不定的一些個烏雲遮住了。昨天是個樂,今天是個痛苦,昨天生氣,今天就無奈,都是一些個漂浮不定的烏雲,你的心就被他抓住了,這樣的話,你怎麼能看到自己的志向呢?所以要趕快的離開這些個烏雲,心裏頭不要抓住這個,抓住那個,跟著這些個閒事長無明這些個東西,跟著這些個走,不要跟著這些走,趕快回過頭來。所以天恩師德,這才不要忘記,這才是脫六道輪迴,這才是自己真正的充滿著美在其中的生活,這才是真實的人生,所以我們真能那樣的話,你的生命力自然的就會非常的充實,你的周圍就是家庭不好、兒女不好,也會跟著你改變,也會跟著你改變,你真能這樣的話,你再忙,再怎麼忙亂,也不會感覺有壓力,不會感覺有壓力,因為人有壓力,就是因為你天天的去忙亂這些個東西,不能解決這些個東西,都是把問題擺在前面,你要把都拿回來,看到自己這個誠,這個真,真能這樣的話,都是迎刃而解,一定會,所以希望各位要學會這些個東西,希望我們大家都是能有自己一些個辦法,超出這個。
We must learn how the Heavenly Principles operate and the process of nature. Whatever in our mind, the Heavenly Principles rule. We must know it and shall not let clouds cover it. Happiness, pain, anger, and helplessness are all clouds that shade our mind. In that case, how could we see our determination? We must leave the clouds and do not cling to all the idle matters. We shall always return to our true being. The Heavenly Grace and Holy Teacher’s Mercy shall always be in our mind. By doing so, we can transcend reincarnation and live a real life. Subsequently, we will be full of energy of life, which will change our family and surroundings. If we stick to our true being, we will not feel pressure in even devastatingly busy situations. Pressure occurs when we are concerned of the daily problems that cannot be solved. To address it, we must see the sincerity and genuineness in us. Problems can be easily solved if we deal with them with the true being in us. Thus, we must all learn to achieve it and transcend the mortal life.
學道不簡單,我們大家是學天理良心的本源,我們是學良知良能的聖潔,良知良能的聖潔,我們要學做,你看看今天的社會,你看看今天的家庭,你看看現在的人心,我們要做好中流砥柱,繼續過去的聖賢、仙佛的苦心,我們要來承續下去,繼往開來,真能這樣的話,我們在這個人生當中,這才是上天的職責,我們的使命才能完美,才能完成,我們雖然是在修道,可是不要忘記哦,這些個烏雲,這些漂浮的烏雲,隨時隨地都在向我們叩門,看看你能不能不再跟著他走,所以我們自己,不要就一直跟著情轉,跟著情而迷惑,或是都著富有而迷惑,不要這樣子,我們在塵而出塵,不受這些污染,我們雖然是在家,但是我們有志向,不受家庭的枷鎖,把自己鎖到真是一籌莫展,不要這樣子。(待續)
Tao cultivation is not easy. We learn to approach the Heavenly Principles with our root and conscience. We learn to behave with conscience in a sacred and benevolent way. Among today’s society, families, and people, we must function as the crucial pillar standing in torrents and sustain the mission from Saints and Heavenly Beings. This is what we shall accomplish in this life. Although we are on the way of Tao cultivation, we must also remember that these clouds hit our doors all the time to lure us away. We must not turn away from Tao when these attractive and distractive clouds come. We must stick to our determination and remain unaffected by the shackles of the mundane world. (To be continued)
